I bought this teapot mainly for its clay,it brews aged white tea with a sweet, smooth taste. There was a slight plastic smell at first, maybe from the packaging, but I boiled it in cold water for 15 minutes and the smell disappeared. Overall, I’m very satisfied. Many focus on craftsmanship, but I value the clay more—good, untreated, unpolished clay really makes a difference in tea quality. Big thumbs up to the seller for that!
