This 90ml Yixing Zisha teapot is a masterful blend of traditional craftsmanship and design rooted in everyday life. Shaped in the distinctive "Cui Cui Hu" form, the pot is handcrafted using original mineral-rich Yixing purple clay—completely free from any chemical additives or artificial treatments. Its natural composition ensures a healthy, unaltered tea-drinking experience.

Each piece is semi-handmade and wood-fired in a protective saggar, a traditional method that allows the raw clay to mature under high heat without the use of glazes. The result is a unique, earthy surface with fire-kissed markings and subtle ash deposits, offering an ancient, understated beauty that only natural firing can achieve.

Inspired by the form of vintage electric rice cookers, the pot’s design pays homage to daily life with a nostalgic yet minimal aesthetic. Its rounded, grounded shape feels familiar and comforting, while a hammered surface texture—reminiscent of antique cast iron kettles—adds visual depth and a satisfying tactile grip.

Over time, this teapot evolves. With regular use, tea oils gradually seep into the clay, enriching its color and developing a natural patina. Gentle tea washing leads to iron-like speckling across the surface, a prized transformation known as "yang hu" (tea nurturing), making each teapot a personal story of tea and time.

One side of the teapot features hand-engraved artwork by the artisan “Pingtanjun” (平檀君). These subtle, hand-carved lines reflect quiet artistry and cultural depth, adding collector value to this already remarkable piece.

Functionally designed with a built-in push-type filter, this teapot delivers a clean, controlled pour, perfect for Gongfu-style brewing or solo tea sessions.

More than a brewing tool, this is a companion for those who appreciate the ritual, beauty, and evolution of tea.
